Airway Analysis

We assist children who are experiencing difficulty breathing, especially at night. Using a combination of procedures and analytics, we can identify and recommend the proper treatment or therapies necessary for your child to have a healthy breathing experience.

Whether it is through assisting in reshaping the jaw or opening the airway through widening the palate by expanding the arch we are able to confidently help your child breathe easier. Making sure your child has the room to breathe comfortably and for their teeth to come in can often not only potentially lower the need for braces, but also from relapse if you do braces because the arches will be skeletally aligned correctly to support the bite comfortably.

When children breathe easier, they are able to fully enjoy life and learn and fulfill their potential.

Asking a few simple questions and doing a quick assessment, we are able to screen your child to see if they are a candidate for this therapy.

Many times what gets labeled as a behavioral disorder such as ADD or ADHD in a child is nothing more than an undiagnosed airway disorder. At Coastal Pediatric Dentistry, we are one of the only practices in the area capable of doing airway and sleep studies.
