Our team is dedicated to providing quality, comfortable care to your child. Our team of pediatric dentists are qualified to meet the dental needs of infants and toddlers, school-age children and adolescents, as pediatric dentists are required to undertake an additional two or three years of child-specific training after fulfilling dental school requirements.

Dr. Terri Hubbard

Pediatric Dentist & Practice Owner

Dr. Terri Hubbard is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she received a BS in Microbiology. She attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she received the E.B. Gernert Community Service Award for her outstanding commitment to improving oral health in the community. Dr. Hubbard completed her pediatric dental residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Children’s Hospital of Alabama where she continued to advocate for improving access to care for pediatric and special needs patients.Dr. Hubbard participated in a first-of-its-kind program at Tufts University in Pediatric Dental Sleep Medicine to help dentists understand the basics of normal sleep maturation, respiratory physiology, and craniofacial development throughout childhood. Excited to learn the new treatment options for Sleep Disordered Breathing in pediatric patients, she became familiar with various sleep disorders in children and adolescents and was able to review cutting-edge research and techniques in evaluation and treatment.

Early intervention is Dr. Hubbard’s highest recommendation to all of our families, since the growth and development of the craniofacial- respiratory complex occurs early in life, from 0-5 years old.Following residency, Dr. Hubbard decided to move to Hilton Head, South Carolina and open Coastal Pediatric Dentistry in 2007. She continues to advocate for access to care for the pediatric as well as the special needs populations in the Lowcountry as well as those in the CSRA region of South Carolina.Dr. Hubbard is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is certified in Basic Life Support as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support.When not in the office you are likely to find Dr. Hubbard with her two children exploring the outdoors or traveling. She especially loves spending time on the water, whether it be boating, paddle boarding, or just playing on the beach.

Dr. Lauren Ziegler

Dr. Lauren Ziegler graduated summa cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences. Dr. Ziegler completed her dental education at the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine.In her free time, Dr. Ziegler loves to spend time with her family, fiancé and friends at the beach, trying new restaurants, and biking around the Lowcountry. She enjoys traveling, exploring new cities, and doing anything outdoors! Dr. Ziegler is also very active in her church and is very passionate about dental mission trips. Dr. Ziegler grew up on Hilton Head Island and is so happy to be back in the Lowcountry! She loves working with pediatric patients, giving them a positive dental experience, and encouraging good oral hygiene habits at home!

Dr. Savannah Lancaster

Dr. Savannah Lancaster grew up in Little Rock, AR. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Arkansas State University. During her time at Arkansas State, she discovered her passion for working with children/special healthcare needs individuals while teaching swimming lessons in her spare time. She then moved to Memphis, TN to complete her doctor of dental surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Tennessee where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.Dr. Lancaster continued her education in Pittsburgh, PA where she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, which is ranked in the top 10 of all U.S. Children’s Hospitals! Working in a children’s hospital and Level 1 trauma center granted her extensive experience in the areas of dental trauma, special healthcare needs, growth and development, pharmacological modalities (including IV and oral sedation), and behavior modification/management.

In addition, while at UPMC, she was also a member of the cleft-craniofacial team specializing in treating patients with cleft lips and palates.After having enough of the cold, Dr. Savannah decided to move to the coast with her two (very large) bernedoodles, Winston and Walter. If you can ever get her out of the office, you can find her outside with her dogs, tackling a DIY project, visiting family and friends, and helping with various local charitable organizations, such as The American Heart Association, The Boys and Girls Club, and Make-A-Wish.

Dr. Rachel Elvis

Dr. Rachel Elvis grew up in the small town of Lake City, South Carolina. She attended Clemson University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Elvis then went on to pursue her dental career at the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Elvis enjoys reading, exercising, needlepointing, baking, and spending time with her husband and family. She loves working with children of all ages and especially treating those with special health care needs. Dr. Elvis can’t wait to meet you in our Aiken office!
